Anime Expo has announced that the convention will return as a live, in-person event in 2022. (AX) Anime Expo is an annual event where fans and industry come together to celebrate Japanese pop culture. Anime Expo 2022 is more than just an event; it’s a reunion of friends, a celebration, and an incredibly creative, passionate community. In 2019, the event will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center July 3rd-7th. This year Anime Expo will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center begin on Friday, July 1 and ends on Monday, July 4 the Los Angeles Convention Center, 1701 South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, CA, 90015, United States.

This year’s Anime Expo (AX) 2022 location will be South Hall GHJK, West Hall AB, Concourse EF, Petree Hall CD, Kentia Hall and Gilbert Lindsey Plaza as well as 300’s 400’s 500’s Meeting Rooms Series. Please park in West Hall or South Hall Parking Garages. This is a first step in what promises to be an amazing event. The four day event with a wide variety of events including screenings, panels, concerts, dances, karaoke and many other activities. There are also various hotels within walking distance to the convention center for attendees looking for accommodations.

You can buy your tickets online for Anime Expo 2022 ahead of time or you can purchase them onsite at the Ticketing Booth, based on availability. Some events during Anime Expo may also require a ticket, in addition to a badge.

Anime Expo (AX) 2022, the largest anime/manga event in North America, has announced who will be attending their convention this year. • COVID-19 Vaccination Proof or Negative COVID-19 Test: SPJA will be requiring all attendees of AX 2022 to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours prior to attending the event. 
• Masks: Regardless of vaccination status, masks will be required indoors (except in designated cafeteria/eating areas) and optional outdoors.
